The Mt. Lehman Garden Club was started in 2001, and is a registered non-profit society. We belong to the BC Council of Garden Clubs, who provide liability insurance and a speakers' list. Interesting speakers are engaged to give presentations at every meeting, and many come with plants to show and for sale.
Once a year in May the Club holds a Plant Sale, which is a great place to buy well-raised and unusual plants for your own garden, as well as a way of sharing excess plants that you may have, with all the proceeds benefitting the Club.
Periodically, field trips are arranged to places such as specialty growers, famous gardens, Manning Park wildflowers, and the like.
The Club also holds a summer barbecue and auction at one of the member's homes.
Visitors and new members are always welcome.
The Mt. Lehman Garden Club meets once a month, on the third Thursday, at 7:00 pm, in the Mt. Lehman Hall (see the map on the Hall Rental page).
